This documentary takes us back in time through a land steeped in history. It introduces us to majestic landscapes and regales us with legends, the legends that ensured the renown of one of Europe’s greatest civilisations: the Occitanian civilisation.
Filmed in the South of France, it takes us to Montségur, Carcassonne, Quéribus and Toulouse. Following in the footsteps of the Cathars, we explore their history, their secrets and the shroud of legend that surrounds them.
The original soundtrack by the group ‘OC’ features music borrowed from the troubadours, but arranged to create an unapologetically modern sound.
This document holds valuable clues to a great mystery : the mystery of our land.
